This week at The Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart, one thing became clear: the European battery industry has entered a new phase. When we first exhibited nearly ten years ago, the halls were crowded with newcomers promising to become the next big player. Today the picture is very different — and Prime Batteries is still here, building at scale.
Engineering, software development, and sales were all represented at our stand. We introduced a new product line based on 21700 cells, manufactured at our EU Gigafactory, alongside our proprietary BMS and EMS — developed and calibrated specifically for our own cell data. The complete stack, in one place.
At The Battery Show Europe 2026, for the first time at a major trade show, we presented our new cylindrical cells — now in production and manufactured entirely in-house. The PBT CELLINDRIX 21700 is built for applications where pack geometry, weight, and discharge behavior are tightly constrained: humanoid robots, drones, autonomous mobile robots, light electric vehicles, and powered industrial tools.

Most of the operational costs in a large-scale data center are energy costs — and that changes everything about how one gets built and operated. Romania already generates significant renewable energy, but most of it is exported and loses its value before reaching a local consumer. Battery storage keeps that energy on the grid, available when and where it is needed most.
